So what is the most powerful factor holding you back from being a success? I think it has something to do with FEAR! Here are then the three types of fears which got the potential to hijack your dreams.
1. Fear of the loss pain which can be manifested in loss of pride, face, life, job, identity.
If you say things like the following: “I’m scared to quit”, you are in fact scared to lose the distressing behavior that comforts you in some ways or it has already become your comfort zone. Some others manifested the fact that they “hate the job, like the pay” or “hate the spouse’s actions, love the children.”
2. Fear of the process pain which can be manifested in you being afraid of the journey to get there. Scared of the hard work required. Scared of the new knowledge. Take note of these popular statements: “How do I …?” or “I’m unsure, not familiar with how to do it” and the perennial favorite: “Too hard.”
3. Fear of the outcome pain – this can be when people are wondering “What if the result is not as good as I planned it to be?” “What if the _________ I quit is actually better than this new _____?” You can just replace _____ with company, boyfriend, girlfriend, business, cellphone, diet or anything else.
