Be Happy: No Need To Change The World

Be Happy

I am sharing with you today a very effective recipe for enduring misery. Choose how you think the world should be then when life is not obeying your rules, get mad! That’s what miserable people are doing!

Let’s say you expect that: People must value you every time or that planes have to arrive on schedule or maybe that your husband must not forget your birthday. Sounds reasonable? Yeah, but often, these things won’t happen! So you just end up aggravated.

Happy people are people who are not demanding so much from life! Rather than demand, they have their own preferences. Well, let me explain.

Happy people would say: “I would prefer “A”, but if “B” happens, it’s OK too!” Got it? Happy people are more into reality and they are not full of themselves in dealing with others and different situations.

How many times have you thought to prefer the neighbors to be quiet but if they make a noise you can handle it? If not, then start now!

What about preferring people to see my point of view but when they disagree, you respect them? Nobody is perfect and there is no one exempted with this universal law.

In others words, you must have preferences about the results of your plans, but you are eager to embrace or accept whatever that may happen.

So what you should do? Rather than demanding on life and people, you’re your own set of preferences always ready when they are needed.

Actually, there are only two techniques to become happier: One, change the whole world and two, change your pattern of thinking.

And I bet that you will agree with me if I will say that it is easier to do the latter.

Reasons Why People Want To Work From Home

Work At Home (http://commons NULL.wikipedia NULL.org/wiki/File:Wikiversity-logo NULL.svg)

Work At Home

The advent of the internet is a major game changer the way we do business and have jobs. These days more and more people are enticed to set up a home based business.

Why do these people like working from home? Actually, there are various reasons depending on the person involved. In this article, I will list the most common ones.

Looking for more time. You know this one, I am sure. You are working so hard and at the end of the day you barely have the necessary time for your family and other personal concerns. It is because we are trading time and energy for money. And this can be so difficult to parents who cannot spend as much time as they would like with their growing children. In most cases, parents can only see their children in the evening and are missing out their growing period. Another factor to consider is that people who are too busy most likely don’t have time for regular exercise, free time or time with friends.

Supplementing the inadequate income. A lot of people are looking for a work they could do from home because they want to get extra source of money. While a lot of people are involved in different jobs at a time, they want to replace at least one of their jobs and want to do it at home. A great majority are dreaming of someday earning enough money so as to finally quit their day jobs.

Getting away from disgusting or boring jobs. There are even many people who choose to get rid of their jobs even without first getting another one because they couldn’t take the job anymore. Most of those people are trying to find a work from home job and earn doing what they like to.

You can easily find more reasons why there are now lots of people searching for opportunities to work at home. I am just presenting here the most popular ones.

And if you are one of the many who are planning to jump into the home-based field, congratulations and good luck!

Choosing Your Career

Right from the very start, choosing the right career could have a big impact on your life as a whole and your finances specifically. Just remember that there are a lot of people who are regretting the career choice they made years ago and just continue on the same path because they feel they already have no choice. Bad decisions lead to an unhappy career life. As much as possible, we have to avoid that.

Of course, since nobody is perfect there is no guarantee that you will end up with the career that is giving you much satisfaction and growth. In case, you are on a dead end road, the best thing to do is to find another one. The power of change is right on your hands.

So let’s listen to this very good short video made by Jack Canfield on the subject of choosing a career right.

Choose your career well!

Want To Make A Smart And Excellent Resume?

My Curriculum Vitae

My Curriculum Vitae

As you are preparing your resume, there are possibilities that you can’t properly figure out how or where to start from.  As it can either make or break your employment chances, preparing your curriculum vitae (CV) should not be taken for granted.  A resume is an outline of your qualifications, skills, and experience as well as accomplishments that hopefully could lead to an interview. Preparing a smart resume is a vital part of your job search! Here are some simple tips that can improve your resume making skills.

1. Make your name at the top prominent. It is better to have a standard font style, such as Arial or Times New Roman font and the font size should be proper as well. In case your CV exceeds beyond two pages, ensure that you write “continued” at page 1 as well as “page 2″ at page 2. Leave out other unrelated and unnecessary facts unless specifically required by your prospective employer.

2. Ensure that your name, address, contact numbers, e-mail address are aptly visible at the top of the document. Unless required, there is no need to mention the reasons of leaving your previous job or jobs.

3. CVs can fall under three categories:  Chronological, Functional as well as Combination. The Chronological CV is the most frequently used format as it is frank as well as everything written in a perfect order. Functional CVs on the other hand are placing more emphasis on competence and accomplishments together with occupational experience. Combination CVs combine the format of chronological as well as functional CVs into one!

4. Preparation is the key for building a CV. The better you know about the position applied for and the company (its products/goals), the better chances you have to write an effective CV. To make your CV stand out, ensure that you write an inspiring and attention-getting CV objective. The CV objective must include the post you are applying for, your professional experience as well as at least three qualities which you have. And please be careful with the grammar.

5. Make a list of the activities that you were engaged in such as internships, seminars, paid work – particularly those in which you had a leadership role or those that indicate competence relevant to the occupation you are applying for. Experience counts a lot and hence you must never miss it out on your CV.

6. See to it that your resume has a good flow and must includes only legal and honest information. Once uncovered a single dishonesty can cast a big gloomy cloud on your chances of getting an interview.

With the very competitive job market, getting all the help to make you stand out among the many choices could really help a lot! And having an excellently written resume could boost your chances of getting the interview and eventually be hired!
