When you are starting your own business, most likely you would only have some limited clients so that it is practically easy for you manage your clients or customers only by yourself. As time goes on, you need to learn as much as you could on marketing and there is no substitute for hands-on learning experience.

With good reputation borne out of good service and experience, your clients would trust you more and more as they see that you’re the one in charge of all of the aspects. If you are doing the business only by yourself, it is very important that you take advantage of different techniques and systems to help you manage your work properly and avoiding burnout to creep in. Below are great tips to make sure you’re managing everything professionally and efficiently:
Tip 1: Use spreadsheets for recording.

On a basic spreadsheet, you will want to record all your passwords, accounts, as well as anything else you should know. On one page, have these records, and then on the following page, have a listing of the links you have published, exactly where you submitted them to, and so on. And on yet another page, create monthly charts of how many followers you’ve got presently.

Tip 2: Formulate your advertising messages.

When you are having your own blog, you can create small tweets as well as links to publish on internet sites. It is important to write all of these immediately after the content articles and other links are made. By doing this, all you’ve got to do would be to cut and paste them into your accounts. Having the weekly overview to e-mail to your clientele each week will also enable you to record what you’re doing and exactly how that can be done better every week. A few social media managers also like to include a list of targets on this weekly overview so that they have a path to take the following week, depending on exactly what transpired the previous week.

Tip 3: Use outsourcing.
In case you are finding you could not keep up-to-date with the pace of your social media advertising campaigns, it is time to get help. You can find several freelance article writers who will be ready to assist you with your projects. Post a job description (leaving the identity of your celebrity out of the advertisement) and find out if you could find individuals to take on a few of the more menial tasks for you. For example, you may create all of the links and the posts, but then have freelancers literally publish them for you. When the freelancers has shown they can do this without problem, then assign a lot more duties, freeing up more of your time and effort to bring in new clients and to make more money. You need to be certain, as you would have with the superstar yourself, to have all your freelancers work as independent contractors so that they need to take care of their own income taxes and insurance coverage, at least right until you could pay them for these expenses or have a payroll department. Have the independent contractors sign a non-disclosure agreement that will legally bind them to keep the identity of their employer a top secret. This can be a big advantage in court of law if the freelancer decides to divulge the stories at a later time.

Generally, developing and utilizing customer management skills gives you an edge. If you could properly handle client expectations as well as your role in their ventures, you could make your business and brand a standout in the sea of competition. This is turn would create the kind of stability and growth your business needs.

Finding The “Just Right” Customers

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

I’ve been on the mailing list of a woman named Mallie Gordoni for a long time. I joined her list a few years back, when I was but a college student trying to find ways to promote my band. Her advice has been a major influence on how I do business.

One of the things she always talks about is finding your “just right” customers. She illustrates this idea through the story of Goldilocks and the three bears. In case you are a little rusty when it comes to children’s bedtime stories, the story goes something like this:

Goldilocks is walking through the woods one day when she comes across a house. Never being much of a shy one, she waltzes right on in and discovers three bowls of porridge sitting on a table. She sits down and tries the first one. It’s too cold. Now, this house didn’t have a microwave, so she moves on to the next bowl to see if it’s any better. The next one’s too hot. Patience was never a strong point of hers, so she moves on to the third bowl. This one is just right, so she eats it all up.

Afterward she takes a nap in one of the three beds upstairs, at which time the bears that live in the house return and discover her sleeping. Depending on the version you’re telling, they either eat her in lieu of the bowl of porridge she consumed, or they simply drive her out.

The point is that Goldilocks didn’t try to make the cold bowl or the hot bowl work for her. She didn’t try to force something that wouldn’t have fit anyway. It was probably the only smart choice she made in her string of decisions that day. The cold bowl was not going to get any warmer, and the hot bowl probably wouldn’t have cooled down in time for her to eat it before the bears got back. She knew enough to wait until she found the right bowl of porridge.

It’s kind of’ that way with customers. I started franchising FriendBlastr out a few months ago. On the advertising page I specified that the franchisees had to know HTML and PHP in order to rent my code. This was good. What wasn’t good was that I trusted that disclaimer to ensure that the only people who got copies of my site were qualified for the job.

With every person that came by, I did make sure that they understood the terms of the agreement. The money they made went to me initially and when they wanted their 75% cut, they just had to ask. What I didn’t make sure of was that they were good fits for the job. Some of the people that rented knew next to nothing about HTML and PHP, despite the disclaimer. Others just didn’t know business.

These franchisees have sucked up a large quantity of my time as a result, which was the exact opposite of what I had wanted when I began franchising. My goal was to start generating income without having to be constantly working to promote my website.

Realize that, whatever you choose to sell, not everyone is going to be a good fit. Do not compromise in order to sell to customers that the product probably won’t work for anyway. You want “just right” customers. Anything else will just prove to be a headache.

Alright, quick update on where I’m at with my online stuff: starting this week, I’m going to be paying some workers from India to promote FriendBlastr for $2 an hour. I’m hoping that this will breathe new life into my business, as my job has been taking away too much time from that and my profits have suffered dramatically as a result.

I’m going to give it thirty days and see how it goes. I’m also going to be cleaning the FriendBlastr user list up a bit next Sunday in order to raise the quality of the site. Finally, with every purchase of VIP days, I’ve also begun giving out free copies of a program that helps people accept all their friend requests and then message all their new friends. The program contains a link back to FriendBlastr.

I’m hoping this will help increase return sales.

Note: This is a guest post from a new friend.

Ten Ways To Monetize Your eZine

eZine Marketing

Do you have hundreds, even thousands, of opt-in subscribers eagerly waiting for your regular online newsletter? You most likely are sending out copies of your eZine on a consistent basis. By now, you must have realized that it consumes so much of your time and effort to come up with helpful content for your subscribers to read.

On this scenario, maybe you have been speculating  on how could you monetize or earn money from your eZine investment.

It is true that eZines were not invented just for you to get nothing out of it or else it could become a losing proposition. Definitely, you can earn money here – a lot of money at that – from creating your own eZine and promoting your subscriber base.

How can it be possible? Here, let us talk on at least ten ways by which you could possibly earn money from your eZine.

1. Market your own products. Your mailing list at your hand means you have a very powerful tool to follow up on your subscribers to pre-sell some offers. You could try to win their trust by establishing good relationship and regular contact, and then in time sell them your products.

2. Promote affiliate products. In online marketing, you are not required to have your own products to be able to sell anything to your subscribers. In fact, the most online marketers are not just marketing their own products but they are also promoting products of other marketers whom they trust. You could join any of the myriad affiliate programs on the net today.  You’d be paid a commission for every sale a subscriber of yours buys a product from the affiliate merchant.

3. Directly sell solo ads. This means you allow another internet marketer to promote his products on your eZine by giving him a space in one of your issues where he could talk whatever he is offering. Naturally, this is a paid advertising. However, just be careful that you are dealing with reputable marketers so you can possibly annoy some of your subscribers. For instance, never allow scam type of products to be marketed on your ezine.

4. Paid recommendatory ads. You could also offer to recommend another marketer’s products to your subscribers for a fee. You could do this by writing reviews or recommendations embedded in one of your value-packed content messages.

5. Establish partnerships. Joint ventures can tremendously increase your profits tremendously. However, the established online businessmen would take into consideration your standing in the industry before they could consider you for the partnership. So if you have a mailing list with thousands of subscribers, most likely, they will take you in an instant.

6. Paid subscription. Once your eZine has built an excellent reputation for itself as genuine information and demand for subscription is at an all time high, you could start charging for subscription fees. You can earn money every time new user would subscribe to your eZine service as well in subscription renewal. This could give you great income for many years to come.

7. Build your people or affiliates. The best way to promote your own products is to get some people to help you advertise the same to ever corner of the World Wide Web. Indeed, we are talking about establishing your own affiliate program. And the best source for affiliates is, and will always be, your mailing list.

8. Use your repeat traffic. If you’re engaged in a Pay-Per-click (PPC) program like Google AdSense, then page impressions count. Page impressions are not dependent on unique visitors alone. Repeat visitors are crucial to your sustainable success. Your eZine can help you secure repeat visitors as you’ll have a platform to constantly remind your subscribers about your website.

9. Link your sales page. A lot of online marketers have different websites for each of their products. How would people know where to go? Aside from the organic traffic from the search engines, you could lead the members of your mailing list to your various sales pages by simply including a link on your eZine.

10. Leveraging power. This could be useful by the time you want to sell your website. A website with a mailing list of 10,000 subscribers can command a higher price than a mere website with no mailing list at all. However, you must tell the buyer of some predicaments here. The website and the eZine should be maintained by the buyer. The buyer cannot change everything and expect the existing subscribers to continue their subscription for something totally different from what they have signed up for.

Free Account At InstantBuzz

Make The Buzz Now

Make The Buzz Now

InstantBuzz is awesome but many people don’t join it right away when they sign up to VitalViral because it requires installing a toolbar.

However, it is very effective and the toolbar is totally safe and one of the least intrusive ways of earning credits of any of the programs. Just use your browser like you normally would — earning credits as you go.

TrafficSwarm will send 100s or 1000s of hits a day to your site because people are clicking on adverts to earn credits, whether the advert interested them or not.

In InstantBuzz, there is no such incentive for people to click on the ads – they do so IF AND ONLY IF the advert interests them.

Consequently, the number of people clicking on your adverts is much lower, but you’ll get a MUCH higher conversion rate provided your site is good and matches the advert. Don’t place misleading ads just to get them to your site!

You can earn credits by browsing with the toolbar enabled. You will also earn ad credits once you build a downline. These credits will really start to amount to some serious advertising once you reach certain levels of downline. See the InstantBuzz members area by  clicking on the red button on the toolbar.

NOTE: when you first sign up to InstantBuzz, you’ll be offered a chance to upgrade to Elite status for life. Ignore this and just remain a free member UNLESS you can easily afford it. The benefits are worthwhile though.

Benefits include the ability to use HTML ads instead of plain text (at least tripling click rates) and the ability to have a lot more advert campaigns.

The ultimate prize in VitalViral is having a big downline in InstantBuzz – the highly targeted traffic you’ll receive as a result will be priceless!

You can also buy credit packs. Buying credit packs is a great way to start quickly with InstantBuzz but it’s imperative that you have the means to place different ads, track them and compare them.

As you’re paying for views of your adverts, not clicks, measuring the click rate of different adverts is very, VERY important.

So important, that tomorrow I’ll cover how to track your ads using a free service or a paid service that may also generate extra leads for you.

By the way, VitalViral is committed to providing a free solution for traffic generation so free options are provided. Paid accounts may provide extra benefits but are totally optional.

MLM: Close Before You Start

Prospects and networkers have a psychological war during the entire business presentation. The networker gives reason after reason why he should join or buy. If the prospect doesn’t arm himself with faults about the product, he will have no defense when the networker closes.

(http://success-freeways NULL.info/mlm-close-before-you-start/how-to-mlm)Therefore, the prospect must concentrate on finding reasons not to buy, avoid trap commitments laid by the networker, and be on guard against any sales tricks that the networker may use to get him.

With all these problems the prospect does not have the time to really listen or weigh the good points why he should buy. No wonder networkers have such a hard time communicating with their prospects.

The solution to this universal sales problem is simple. Merely put the prospect at ease by telling him:

1. Most people buy your product.

2. The total cost of your product.

3. “Reasons” why he shouldn’t buy.

4. The facts and then it’s up to him.

The secret is to tell the prospect these four things BEFORE you make your sales presentation.

Here are two examples of the above technique:

Technique 1: Mr. Prospect, most people I talk with join my network marketing business because they see how this can really help their incomes. After all, the total cost of getting started in our program is only $150.

As a matter of fact, the only two reasons people don’t join are: they don’t really understand our program; or that times are so tough, they just can’t afford $150 right away.

What I’m going to do is just present to you the basic facts about our opportunity and if you like it, fine, we’ll get started. If you don’t, fine, that’s okay too. Fair enough?

Technique 2: Mr. Prospect, most people just love our products. They’re always telling their friends about it. After all, it only costs $10/bottle just equivalent to a light snack in a fat food joint.

You know, the only reasons people don’t buy our the fabulous juice is that they just can’t believe how well it works, or their budget just can’t set the S10 aside.

Anyway, let me show you how it works and if you like it, fine, buy one and surprise your wife. If you don’t like it, that’s okay too. Fair enough?

By using this simple four-step technique before your sales presentation, your closing ratio will increase dramatically.

Here is why this technique works wonders with your prospect:

1. You have told your prospect that most people buy your product or opportunity. Your prospect does not want to be the first one to try it. He wants to know if others have made the decision to buy. Since most people buy your product, the prospect’s natural tendency is to want to join the majority.

2. You have told your prospect the total cost of your product unlike most “networker” he has encountered. They usually hide the price and spring it out at the very end of their presentation. The prospect worries throughout the entire presentation when the price will be surprised on him and how much it will be. By revealing the price first, his mind is now clear to listen to your product’s features and benefits.

3. You build trust and confidence in your prospect by telling him the entire cost in the beginning. He looks upon you as an honest businessman, not as a networker that holds back information and tries to trick him. Even if your price is “high” or “shocking,” he will want to hear about your product to see why it is so good to command such a price.

4. This technique gives you a more “unbiased, low-pressure, I don’t care” approach versus the “high-pressure, you have to buy it” approach. The prospect’s defenses will go down when he sees that you are not attacking his jugular vein. When handled properly, this low-key approach motivates your prospect to want to qualify for your product. He starts selling himself.

5. By giving your prospect “reasons” not to buy, you have taken the pressure off. He doesn’t have to fight you why he should not buy, because he knows you’ll accept those reasons. By removing this fear, your prospect can now listen and concentrate on the features and benefits of your presentation.

6. If you plan properly, the “reasons” not to buy really force the prospect to buy. In the above two examples we have subtly said to the prospect, “Everyone buys unless he doesn’t understand or is too poor.” This also helps you isolate objections at the end of your presentation. Your prospect either needs more information or he just doesn’t have the money.

7. By telling your prospect that it’s okay if he buys or not, you again are relieving the sales pressure he naturally places on himself. However, by his agreeing to “Fair enough?” he is committing himself to a decision now.  This helps prevent the “I’ll think it over” objection when used properly.

Pass this techniques to people you entered into the business.

Another Recession Coming? How Not To Get Worried

Make It Online

Make It Online

And so earlier today I was browsing for some little news and what I found is yet another of those doom-and-gloom piece predicting how we might be in for a “double dip” type of countrywide economic recession.

Double dip recession basically means that the first recession we just went through could generate another round of recession due to inability of things to pick up quickly as they should be.

To say it in a nutshell, the consuming public is not adequately confident that the economy is in good and robust shape and so people are expecting the economy to go into a tailspin.  Good but not funny stuff!

I’m sure most people are getting crazy just to think of another recession yet alone losing jobs … but as for me I am not even at least concerned.

Why? Because another round of recession could spell good news for some people…

Yes…I said good news. And it could be good news to you and me.

I know…I know that a lot of people will struggle more if we will have a second recession — and more people are going to lose their jobs… and no I am not really thrilled about that.

Losing jobs is definitely not good news especially if you have your own family and expenses to attend to!

The reason a “double dip” recession could be a good news for some people including me is for one plain reason …

Recession means there will be lots of local businesses — the brick and mortar types — who are looking for additional leads, clients and sales and these businesses are so willing to pay big money to the people who can assist them in that goal.

In fact, you could earn thousands of dollars a month even from just one individual client if you have the correct knowledge and are willing to utilize it.

Local business owners wish to find the bigger market online but are hindered because almost none of them have the idea where to start much more maintaining it.

They don’t know the right ways to get a first page rank on Google for their specific stores or the intricacies of running an effective local lead generation campaign.

And these businesses don’t have the willingness and time to learn how to do these things online.
The best option these offline businesses want to take is to get someone to do that stuff for them. And, of course, they are willing to pay a lot of money.

This is an opportunity that many are describing as the “next gold rush” and although I’ve heard and doubt that before…I am a firm of it this time.

Advertising dollars and clients’ attentions are moving to the Internet — away from the traditional Yellow Pages, magazine ads, and newspapers.

That’s equivalent to billions of dollars jumping away from the conventional type advertising and hopefully towards people like you and me.

Or to put it into another words, these billions of dollars “could” be moving to people like you…if we have the knowledge and some expertise on how to get our share of the money pie.

Let’s prepare ourselves now for the explosion of the online business in response to the coming recession!

A Thing Called Personal Branding

Sustenuto Monochord Logo Brand (http://www NULL.flickr NULL.com/photos/64097751 null@null N00/4648681985)

Sustenuto Monochord Logo Brand

A lot of people are wondering why others succeed while many others fail?

Have you ever asked the same question yourself?

Why some people get promoted on their job and many others don’t?

Have you ever notice why some people are  so pleasantly approachable and easily lovable but many others are definitely not?

Well, if there’s one major thing that could define your level of success, it is what we call as Personal Branding.

People love (or hate) you by the brand (or label) you create for yourself whether you are aware about it or not. Every single moment

of your life, you create an impression than sticks to the mind of people. They judge you more on the basis of what they see rather than what you say.

That’s why companies put a huge budget on branding. Without a strong reputation, people won’t trust you, and trust is simply a foundation of any new beginning. Every brand stands for something—quality, integrity, speed, affordability, wonder, mobility and the list goes on and on.

So if you are a brand, what could you be known for? It’s important to answer this question because everything will revolve around you and the brand that you consistently create.

We have to realize that whether we like it or not – we are marketing ourselves to a lot of people everyday. Lest we forget that convincing our husband or wife of something takes some form of marketing.

We are selling ourselves everyday and there is no better way to sell than to have a unique personal branding.
