When you are the owner of your own business, every day can bring in new and different challenges. Successful businesses are built to survive both the good times and the bad.

Successful businesses are never and should never be founded on hope. Successful businesses are built on stable ground, sound footing and by successful people.

And successful people understand the importance of surrounding themselves with, and learning from, others who are successful.

Success: 1. outcome, result.  2. degree or measure of succeeding a favorable or desired outcome; the attainment of wealth, favor or eminence.

Here are the different challenges a smart entrepreneur has to face everyday:

- Discover how to fully utilize the untapped income streams you didn’t know existed before.

- Develop more precision about the things you want out of your business and the reasons behind.

- Discover how to institute fun in your business and at the same enhance its value.

- Find out how to take advantage of the power of leverage with computers, communications technology and the internet backbone.

- Learn how to draw and keep good people working for you.
- Learn how to fully utilize the things you have and stop leaving revenues on the table – so to speak.

- Learn effective and practical marketing principles in the face of intense competition.

- Discover how to impartially evaluate ideas and projects and learn to control your emotions especially in decision making.

- See how you can work the same load for fewer hours and like those hours even more.

- Discover exactly the factors which can stop, hinder and sidetrack your success.

- Understand the importance of ongoing education as a key element of business success.

- Make it a point themselves to learn and be taught from the best minds in the business world…even at some cost.

- Must be ready to invest their time for the future’s growth of your business.

Personally, my most lucrative business deals have come out of “chance” meetings at a seminar or event. Definitely, seeing someone face-to-face is the absolute best way of networking and inking joint ventures.

Smart entrepreneurs develop themselves and they network with people who are of the same mind!

Dealing With Rejection

Dealing With Rejection

Several years ago I met a “seething salesman.” This was back in my job days working for someone else the man, when I was looking at various business opportunities, schemes and scams trying to figure out what was legit and what was just a mockery.

Anyway, one day I ended up talking to a salesman pushing his own business opportunity. By the way I saw him, he seemed a decent fellow at first. He in fact said all the right things and he dressed sharply.

In other words, he didn’t come off to me as the typical pushy sales monster. But then I started asking questions that made him…well, uncomfortable.

Like, for example, I asked to see how long the business he was selling had been around….If I could talk to others who were making a living with it… And if he’d show me some proof it was what he said it was?

Now, to a smart salesman, this is good stuff because it shows that I am interested or at least giving him the benefit of the doubt. A legitimate salesperson is looking for questions like these.

But…not this guy. When it became obvious I wasn’t buying what he was promoting, he pulled a total “Jeckyll & Hyde” and just went from nice and polite to being blatant rude and a jerk.

At the time, I couldn’t figure out why. Why get so upset about it? Today, I know full well why: He simply was not comfortable selling his particular business scheme probably because it was just another scam and to make up for his lack of abilities or hide his intentions, he got emotional and angry.

This is not good for any entrepreneur. Emotional stability is a very critical element if you want to be successful. You should never take a “no” personally. I know… that sounds great “on paper”, doesn’t it?

In reality we all know rejection sucks. I know this as well as anyone.  And even the entrepreneurs who walk around chanting how great “no’s” are will tell you (if you press them hard) they hate rejection, too.

But then again no matter how we hate it, it is one of the many realities we have to take in our journey to success. You can never expect all the people you rub shoulders with to fully agree with your points of views and take anything you are promoting as if they are its father.

Rejection is part of life and we have to be ready for it from time to time!

Writing Down Goals And 3 Fears Holding You Back

Write It Down (http://en NULL.wikipedia NULL.org/wiki/File:Writing NULL.JPG)

Write It Down

Maybe you are asking “Why is it that I have not yet accomplished my goals? A lot of people are prone to investigate themselves to learn why they have not accomplished what they want to do and want to have in life. Life is short so we have to use time judiciously. Time is more valuable than gold because nobody could ever take time back into his hands.

One of the most important tips in achieving your goals is to have it written as it could make things clearer and in some bizarre way it can literally throw the obstacles away.

Sometimes it is really funny just to think about that! But it is true – I have proven it myself and so do a lot of people who follow that simple advice.

Now, if you haven’t tried writing down your biggest goals, I know you’re probably shaking your head “What is this guy talking about?” Of course, the pudding is always in the eating so see it for yourself.

Remember to set aside a little time and write down your goals on paper — not on your computer screen but by paper!

So what is the most powerful factor holding you back from being a success? I think it has something to do with FEAR! Here are then the three types of fears which got the potential to hijack your dreams.

1. Fear of the loss pain which can be manifested in loss of pride, face, life, job, identity.

If you say things like the following: “I’m scared to quit”, you are in fact scared to lose the distressing behavior that comforts you in some ways or it has already become your comfort zone. Some others manifested the fact that they “hate the job, like the pay” or “hate the spouse’s actions, love the children.”

2. Fear of the process pain which can be manifested in you being afraid of the journey to get there. Scared of the hard work required. Scared of the new knowledge. Take note of these popular statements: “How do I …?” or “I’m unsure, not familiar with how to do it” and the perennial favorite: “Too hard.”

3. Fear of the outcome pain – this can be when people are wondering “What if the result is not as good as I planned it to be?” “What if the _________ I quit is actually better than this new _____?” You can just replace _____ with company, boyfriend, girlfriend, business, cellphone, diet or anything else.

Making written goals in notebooks is a critical right step to your success.  Admit to yourself that if you have not yet written a single word of your goals on paper then you have to do it as soon as possible.

Lots of people want to make good money in internet marketing, right? Of course, you want to succeed. The first step is not creating a blog. Sorry to say that!

The right first step is writing down your goals. You’re serious about success? Then you’re write down your goals in a paper. And examine your fears which are holding you back from taking the necessary risks.

Stay Away From Scam Artists

No Scam (http://www NULL.flickr NULL.com/photos/57519914 null@null N00/2046188221)

No Scam

Are you a “noob” or neophyte in internet marketing? Then you should know two things first. One, you would be happy to know that thousands of diligent and creative people are making good income working from home. That’s a fact!

So what the other thing? Well, while thousands are making money, there are ten times more who are not and are still wondering what they got into.  That is an honest-to-goodness statement!

You see, we know that many advantages of working at home. You work at the time schedule you want and most importantly there is no more need to get apprehensive about your boss giving you the push here and there. At last, you are not subject to being late at work.

You must know in your heart that you are a strong capable person. You already have everything you need to achieve your dreams for yourself & for your family. And my dream is to help you succeed, every step of the way.

Because there are so many opportunities and so much interest in home businesses, there are dishonest people looking to take advantage of your situation.  And most of these people who sometimes call themselves as “gurus” will offer you heaven and earth just for you to open up your wallet. In most cases, they are giving 200% guarantee that it just takes 10 minutes a day for you to join the Millionaire Club.

Yes, it is so easy to be taken by some of these offers and products. I should know because like a lot of people I have been also a victim of these unscrupulous scam artists.

You deserve much better. You got to succeed and be happy with your home business journey. Don’t let any scam take away that dream from you. You must steer yourself away from the negative elements that can have impact on your business.

A Story Of Taking Chances

Take Your Chance (http://en NULL.wikipedia NULL.org/wiki/File:Brookgreen_reading_9739 NULL.JPG)

Take Your Chance

Two years ago, I met a guy who was involved in real estate business. We got together on a Saturday night and had a few cups of coffee.

That night Bakov — the real estate guy — told me a very inspiring and captivating story. I was literally floored when I heard it. It shares a valuable lesson about strong belief. I posted the story below.
There was this one guy from Petro Mikva whose wife died which left him with two young boys aged 3 and 5 to carry on his back. To top it all, he got no job and has a 300,000 shekel debt to pay off.

Like a wounded bird, he was literally desperate, emotionally tired and mentally unhealthy. His life was a complete mess and with 2 young boys to take care of it seemed as if he didn’t stand a good chance of becoming a success.

The people around him already crossed him out and judged that it was just a matter of time before he collapsed and committed a suicide. Or so everybody thought.

Exactly 50 days after his wife’s unexpected death, he saw an advertisement in the local newspaper that said: “Local Real Estate Genius Opens His Secrets!”

The cost to attend the seminar was a gigantic 200 shekels and he almost got no money to buy the necessary food. Against all logic he decided to find the way to get the money.

He goes to the bank and asks for a 200 shekel loan. And against all odds, he somehow manages to get the money. He then attends the seminar and personally meet the real estate guru guy.

A year after that, the man was already a mind blowing success in real estate industry. He eventually remarries a beautiful woman and decided to settle in Greece for early retirement.

The lesson of this story is that BIG SUCCESS can only come to those who aren’t afraid of taking chances and facing some risks.

Online Marketing And Wishing Stars

Be Your Own Self-Fulfiller (http://commons NULL.wikipedia NULL.org/wiki/File:Bryan_Singer NULL.2776_cropped NULL.jpg)

Be Your Own Self-Fulfiller

This piece was actually sent to my email by a friend who is already very successful in online marketing. Please read on and I am sure you can learn some nuggets of wisdom here.

“When I was just at the age of three, my mother decided to go back to study in college. At the same time, she also worked full time so her classes were usually at night. She would often drop me off in the house of my aunt which is located in a small town with a population of not more than 500 residents. My aunt loved to watch me.

As I learned at that time, my kind aunt loved me very much and would do whatever thing to please me. I loved to be there because aside from my aunt, there were also my cousins who were both older than me and I considered them to be the ‘coolest people’ I’d ever met.

In other words, I really loved that place. There were instances when I even plead my mom to let me stay there on the weekends.

It was one of those lazy weekends when my two cousins and I were hanging outside the house until it got dim. Then we had to go in. Before we did, my cousin Dave says – ‘Look, there is a falling star. We must make a wish!’

So he makes a wish, and then he goes in. My cousin Christy makes a wish next and she goes in. I still haven’t decided yet what my wish is going to be and then it hits me — I know the perfect wish.

I say, ‘I don’t want this house to burn down.’ Then I go inside the house. Please take note that I was just three by this time. It was just another ridiculous childish wish. Why didn’t I wish for something much better? Well, that I don’t know.

Probably, you know where this story is heading. Some few months later that house caught fire – literally burned to the crust. Unfortunately, my Nintendo games where in there, and they were finished.

Did it affect me? Of course, it did! Here I was, a green three year old little boy who believed that if you wished upon a falling star it would come true. I did it. Yet, the opposite happen.

That’s when I made a powerful choice that eventually defined who I am today. That’s when I decided to become my own ‘wish fulfiller.’ Never mind the stars. I decided to make my wishes come true myself.

And I have. I wished to be a good son my parents could be highly proud of. And they are because of the many accomplishments I already gathered and how much influence I have on positively shaping the lives of other people.

I have become moderately rich over the last few years and remain at the top of my industry (online marketing). My financial dreams came true. I always wanted to make a difference – to contribute some changes to the lives of others and gauged on various testimonials I think I already did just that — though the journey still continue up to now.

I got my wishes. Of course, not by wishing on some ridiculous falling star. Everything materialized because I made a wish deep down in my soul and this generated a fiery desire… which made me find a way to make the things I want to be accomplished.

We all can be our very own wish-fulfiller. And we can do it today.”
